While powder coating is gaining increasing popularity, classic wet painting remains irreplaceable in many branches of heavy industry, construction or when protecting large-size elements. Lightica has advanced facilities for industrial painting of details with complicated shapes and large dimensions.
Advantages and applications of wet painting
- Protecting surfaces that do not fit into powder ovens (large dimensions).
- Specialized coatings: anti-corrosive C3-C5, chemical resistant, epoxy and polyurethane.
- Possibility of painting materials sensitive to high temperature, where baking in an oven is impossible.
- High application precision for complicated shapes and deep crevices (better "penetration" of nooks and crannies).
- Extremely smooth, shiny surfaces (including high-gloss coatings used e.g. in automotive).
